Before contacting us, check out some of our most frequently asked questions to see if we can help you out!

Class Sessions

How long do the sessions last? Each session is comprised of 5 classes meeting once a week for 5 weeks. For example, if your class is scheduled for Mondays at 6:00, you will come each Monday at 6:00 for 5 weeks.

How long is each class? Each weekly class is one hour in length.

​

Do I work with my dog while at class? Yes, you will work with your own dog.

​

What do I need to bring to class? You will need to bring your dog, soft dog treats (hard treats don't work well for training), and a flat collar and 4'-6' dog leash.

​

Can anyone else come with me to class? Yes, you may bring other friends or family members, but be aware that space and seating are very limited.

​

What if my dog is aggressiveWe do not take aggressive dogs however we have people we can refer you to for training.

Dog Requirements

What vaccines do I need for my dog to have before attending a class? Each dog attending a Cruisin' Canines dog obedience class must be current on vaccinations specifically rabies, bordatella, and Parvo.

 

How old does my dog need to be? As long as your puppy has had its third round of shots, your dog is able to attend class.

​

Do I need to provide proof of vaccines? Yes, a copy of your dog's vaccines must accompany your dog at the first class session.

​

How old is too old for my dog to participate in a class? We have had dogs as old as 8 years old participate in our classes.  As long as your dog is healthy and physically able to participate, they are welcome to attend classes.
